    The best spouse is a righteous spouse. No matter how much wealth one may have or how good looking one may be, in regards to the akhirah the only thing which will really be of benefit is one's deen. Looks should definitely be considered when looking in to a spouse, but it shouldn't be the sole reason for picking someone. You should look in to their deen more than anything else. If you fall in love with someone's deen, their emaan and most of all their taqwa of Allaah, you'll love everything about them.
    The most successful marriages aren't based on wealth, otherwise there wouldn't be all these divorced millionares.
