Oft bleiben die Auswirkungen der Sünden von unseren Brüdern und Schwestern im Islam unbeachtet. Deshalb ist es für uns alle wichtig, sehr sorgsam in unserer Selbstbetrachtung zu sein, um uns von der Sünde und ihrem zerstörerischem Ende zu entfernen. Durch Folgendes kann dies erreicht werden:
1. Angst haben zu sterben bevor man bereut
2. Über das Gute zu trauern, welches man aus Ungehorsam zu Allah verpasst hat
3. Das Verpasste nachzuholen (mit vollem Einsatz und gebührender Ernsthaftigkeit)

Hadith Qudsi, d.h. der Prophet berichtet, dass Allah (s.w.t.) sagt:
"Die Geschichte von Mir und den Menschen und den Dschinn ist erstaunlich: Ich erschaffe und ein anderer wird angebetet. Ich gebe, und einem anderen wird gedankt. Ich sende das Gute von Mir meinen Dienern herab und ihre Bösartigkeit steigt zu Mir herauf. Ich neige Mich ihnen mit Meiner Gnade zu und bedarf ihrer nicht, und sie entfernen sich von Mir mit ihren Sünden, und sind doch auf keinen außer Mich angewiesen. Die Leute, die Mir gedenken, sind die Leute, die bei Mir sitzen, wer also bei Mir sitzen will, der soll Mir gedenken. Die Leute, die Mir gehorsam sind, sind die Leute Meiner Liebe, und die Leute, die Mir ungehorsam sind, lasse Ich die Hoffnung auf Meine Gnade nicht aufgeben. Wenn sie bereuen, dann bin Ich ihr Geliebter und wenn sie nicht bereuen, dann bin Ich ihr Heiler. Ich prüfe sie mit Belastungen, damit Ich sie von ihren Fehlern reinige. Eine gute Tat ist bei Mir zehnmal so viel wert und vermehre ihren Wert, und eine schlechte Tat zählt wie sie ist, und Ich verzeihe. Bei Meiner Erhabenheit, wenn sie die Tat bereuen, dann verzeihe Ich ihnen. Wer von ihnen Mir mit Reue entgegenkommt, den erwarte Ich schon von weit weg, und wer sich von Mir abwendet, den rufe Ich von ganz nah: ‚Wo gehst du hin? Hast Du einen anderen Gott außer Mir?'"

"Verily the scribe (angel) on the left (the recorder of bad deeds) raises the pen for six hours from the Muslim servant who sins. If he regrets his action and seeks Allaah's forgiveness, it is ignored; otherwise, it is written as one bad deed."

Die Pflicht, der Familie, den kinder, sowie allen Familienmitgliedern zu gebieten, Allah, dem Erhabenen, zu gehorchen und ihnen zu verbieten, das Gegenteil zu tun, und sie am Tun von Verbotenem zu hindern
Qur'an: Allah, der Erhabene, spricht:
"Und gebiete deinen Angehörigen das Gebet und sei selbst ausdauernd darin..." (20:132)
"Oh die ihr glaubt! Rettet euch selbst und eure Familien vor einem Feuer, dessen Brennstoff Menschen und Steine sind." (66:6)
Amru ibn Schu'aib (r) überliefert, dass sein Vater ihm berichtete, dass sein Großvater (r) sagte: Der Gesandte Allahs (s) sagte: "Wenn eure kinder das Alter von sieben Jahren erreichen, befehlt ihnen, das Gebet zu verrichten, und züchtigt sie bei Nachlässigkeit darin, wenn sie zehn Jahre alt sind, und lasst sie in getrennten Betten schlafen." (Abu Dawud) Dies ist ein guter Hadith (hasan)
