    With all this talk about ISIS having established the Khilafah in Iraq, a friend of mine said to me, " I always thought when the Khilafah is established it would be BIG news, it would shake the world and it would start solving big problems ASAP namely Palestine."
    Now she got me thinking, because that's what I always thought. I mean think about it, What We know of Islam and the establishment of the Islamic state in Madinah by our noble Prophet (saw), the Khilafah Rashidah and the continuation of the Khilafah. Don't we understand it to be born out of peace, justice and security not out of bloodshed and chaos. I'm sure a lot of you feel the same. That's why I THINK there's so much confusion surrounding ISIS.
    Then I came across this article that put my mind at rest and confirmed what my heart felt Alhamdulillah. It's called 'Understanding the Correct Political Vision of the Khilafah' So I'm going to share it point by point over then next few days. Please feel free to leave comments and share with others Jazakallah khair.

    Point 1:

    The Khilafah is a distinct state. The Khilafah is the Islamic political system, which enshrines: the rule of law, representative government, accountability through its judicial system, and the principle of representative consultation. It is a non-sectarian state built upon a concept of citizenship, opposing the oppression of any religious or ethnic groupings that reside under its authority.
    According to Osman Bakhach, director of the central media office of HT in Lebanon, commenting on recent events in Iraq, it is a "state that opens its arms to all people, Muslims and others, including Christians and Jews" and "not to be a state where Muslims cannot stand each other and fight amongst each other. That is something we [Hizb ut Tahrir] categorically reject."

    Die korrekte Stellung der Frau

    Betrachtet man sich das Bild der Frau im Westen kommen einem schnell Begriffe wie "Emanzipation" oder "Gleichberechtigung" auf. Die Frau solle also nicht einfach nur gleichwertig wie ein Mann behandelt werden, sondern in jeder Hinsicht gleich sein. Ich möchte in diesem Beitrag auch nicht nochmal darauf eingehen, dass der Islam einfach nur Mann und Frau unterschiedliche Rechte und Pflichten gegeben hat, da es hierzu bereits einen Beitrag gibt.

    Vielmehr möchte ich über ein starkes Missverständnis unter den (praktizierenden) Muslimen aufmerksam machen im Hinblick auf die (Ehe)frau. Denn sowohl muslimische Männer als auch Frauen haben der Frau im Islam eine Rolle gegeben, die einfach nur das andere Extrem dieser Gesellschaft darstellt.

    Es wird behauptet eine muslimische Frau müsse zu Hause bleiben, da es sich nicht für sie gehört (viel) draußen zu sein.

    Als Beweis hierzu wird oftmals folgender Vers aus dem Quran verwendet:

    "Und bleibt in euren Häusern und prunkt nicht wie in den Zeiten der Jahiliya [...]" (Sure 33, Aya 33)

    Man braucht nicht allzu viel nachzuforschen, um diesen "Beweis" zu entkräftigen, da sowohl ein Vers davor und im Vers selbst aufgezeugt wird, dass sich dieser Vers gar nicht an alle Frauen richtet, sondern NUR an die Frauen des Propheten (a.s.s.).

    "O Frauen des Propheten, ihr seid nicht wie andere Frauen! Wenn ihr gottesfürchtig sein wollt, dann seid nicht unterwürfig im Reden, damit nicht der, in dessen Herzen Krankheit ist, Erwartungen hege, sondern redet in geziemenden Worten. (Sure 33, Aya 32)

    "Und bleibt in euren Häusern und prunkt nicht wie in den Zeiten der Dschahiliya und verrichtet das Gebet und entrichtet die Zakah und gehorcht Allah und Seinem

    Wer einen Fastenden sieht, der aus Vergessenheit isst

    Frage:
    Wenn ich eine fastende Person im Ramadân sehe, die aus Vergessenheit isst oder trinkt, und ich weiß, dass sie es vergessen hat, weil ich sie für fromm halte, soll ich sie dann erinnern oder trinken und essen lassen? Schließlich hat Allâh sie gespeist und getränkt! Gilt dasselbe fürs freiwillige Fasten?

    Antwort:
    Der Lobpreis gebührt Allâh und möge Allâh Seinen Gesandten sowie dessen Familie und Gefährten in Ehren halten und ihnen Wohlergehen schenken!

    Und nun zur Frage:

    Dass jemand tagsüber im Ramadan Getränke, Speisen oder eine andere Sache zu sich nimmt, die das Fasten bricht, ist eine zu missbilligende Handlung, der man nicht zustimmen oder schweigend zusehen darf. Daher muss derjenige, der einen Fastenden tagsüber im Ramadân sieht, wie er etwas Fasten Brechendes zu sich nimmt, ihn darauf aufmerksam machen. Dies gehört zur Hilfe, zur Güte und demütigen Ehrfurcht gegenüber Allâh. Dass derjenige, der es aus Vergessenheit zu sich nimmt, keine Sünde trägt, nimmt nicht die Sünde von dem, der dies sieht und nichts daran ändert.

    Und Allâh weiß es am besten!

    Abu Huraira, Allahs Wohlgefallen auf ihm, berichtete, dass der Gesandte Allahs, Allahs Segen und Friede auf ihm, sagte: „Wer von gleicher Sache auf dem Weg Allahs zweimal spendet, dem wird (am Tage des Jüngsten Gerichts) von den Toren des Paradieses zugerufen: „O Diener Allahs, das war gut!" Wer einst (im Diesseits) zu den Betenden gehörte, der wird zum Eintreten durch das Tor des Gebets ausgerufen. Und wer einst zu den Leuten des ?ihad gehörte, der wird zum Eintreten durch das Tor des ?ihad ausgerufen. Und wer zu den Fastenden gehörte, der wird zum Eintreten durch das Ar-Rayyan-Tor* ausgerufen. Und wer zu den Spendenden gehörte, der wird zum Eintreten durch das Tor der Sadaqa ausgerufen." Abu Bakr sagte: „Mein Vater und meine Mutter mögen für dich als Opfer sein, o Gesandter Allahs! Es ist einhellig für denjenigen, der zum Eintreten durch eines dieser Tore ausgerufen wird. Wird es auch einige geben, die zum Eintreten durch alle diese Tore ausgerufen werden?" Der Prophet antwortete: „Ja! Und ich hoffe, dass du zu ihnen gehören wirst!"
