Die nächtlichen Gelage inklusive Festbeleuchtung führen auch zu einem Anstieg des Elektrizitäts- und Wasserkonsums sowie Verdauungsschwierigkeiten, die ihrerseits den Bedarf an Medikamenten ankurbeln. Staatsangestellte in islamischen Ländern stehen zudem unter Verdacht, während des Ramadans spät zur Arbeit zu erscheinen und früh wieder zu gehen. Ihre Entschuldigung: Erschöpfung vom Fasten.

    ‫کیا کوئی شخص صرف کفارہ ادا کر کے سال کے کسی اور مہینے میں روزے رکھ سکتا ہے؟
    جواب:
    اگر کوئی شخص اتنا کمزور ہو کہ رمضان شریف میں روزے نہیں رکھ سکتا۔ تو جب صحت یاب ہو جائے تو قضاء اس پر واجب ہے۔ قرآن مجید میں اللہ تعالیٰ کا ارشاد ہے :
    فَمَن كَانَ مِنكُم مَّرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَى سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِّنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَر.
    )البقرة، 2 : 182(
    پس اگر تم میں سے کوئی بیمار ہو یا سفر پر ہو تو دوسرے دنوں )کے روزوں( سے گنتی پوری کر لے۔
    قرآن مجید نے یہ رعایت اس طرح دی ہے کہ کوئی شخص بیمار ہو گیا یا حالت سفر میں ہے، تو اگر وہ روزہ نہیں رکھ سکتا تو رمضان کے بعد پھر ان روزوں کی قضاء کر لیں۔ تو اس پر گناہ نہیں۔ اس صورت میں فدیہ نہیں دے سکتا۔
    اگر کوئی شیخ فانی ہو یعنی عمر کے لحاظ سے اتنا بوڑھا ہو جائے کہ آئندہ بھی روزے رکھنے کا امکان نہ ہو اور صحت مند ہو جانے کی امید بھی باقی نہ ہو۔ یا کوئی شخص اگرچہ کم عمر ہے مگر کوئی ایسی بیماری لاحق ہو گئی کہ اس کا کوئی علاج ممکن نہ ہو یعنی شافی علاج، مثلاً شوگر کا مریض، فالج وغیرہ کا مریض تو ایسے لوگ زندگی میں ہر روزے کے بدلے دو کلو گندم، آٹا یا اس کی قیمت کسی غریب، مسکین کو دے دیں۔ اس کو فدیہ کہتے ہیں۔
    کسی شخص کا موسم کی شدت محسوس کرتے ہوئے ماہ رمضان کی بجائے کسی اور مہینے میں روزے رکھنا جائز نہیں ہے۔ البتہ اگر کوئی باشرع مسلمان ڈاکٹر کسی شخص کو کسی علت کی بناء پر روزے مؤخر کرنے کو کہے تو )بصورت قضاء( ایسا کرنا جائز ہوگا۔

    Capitalism has been able to create wealth and luxury ONLY by perpetuating Poverty and oppression for others.

    In Bangladesh, more than a third of its population live in poverty. As depicted in this picture some have found shelter in sewage pipes while others remain unsheltered on the road side.

    Islam is the only system which would end this disparity between extreme rich and extreme poor, to create a society which would aim to cater for everyone. If were to take just one example (of many) from the Quran:

    "Lest it (wealth) circulates solely among the wealthy from amongst you ." (Surah Hashr 59:7)

    It shows that such ayahs from the Quran together form the Islamic economic system which holds as its' aim; the distribution of wealth amongst the people, so that you do not have this great disparity between the rich and the poor – As the aim of the Islamic system is to actually look after the needs of the people.
