Der Verlauf der Diskussion ist relativ angenehm gewesen. Das Thema war: "Spaltet die Religion oder eint sie die Völker?" Hätte lieber auf Deutsch gesprochen, aber sie wollten unbedingt, dass ich es auf Arabisch mache. Habe mein Bestes gegeben. Im Übrigen hätte ich heute eigentlich bei "Maischberger" in der Talkshow sitzen sollen . Ich habe jedoch abgesagt gehabt, da sie den Islamkritiker Andreas Thiel aus der Schweiz eingeladen haben, bei dem ich mir wirklich keine konstruktive Diskussion erhoffen kann und weil ich das Gefühl hatte, dass sie mich in die radikale Ecke rücken wollten. Sie hatten nämlich als Alternative den Imam der Bremer Moschee eingeladen gehabt, die vor einigen Tagen bei einer Razzia durchsucht wurde. Da wurde mir klar, die suchen nur jemanden, der in irgendeiner Weise an den Pranger gestellt werden soll. Sie haben sich nun wir unseren berliner Bruder Ender Cetin entschieden. Bei Allah, Allah wird diese Sache (den Islam) vollenden und der Tag wird kommen wo ein Reiter von San'aa bis nach Hadramaut reisen wird und nichts außer Allah zu fürchten hat oder den Wolf der sein Schaf fressen könnte, ihr aber seid ungeduldig."
