(32:24) Geduld ist der Weg Allahs Gesellschaft zu erlangen: „...Seid geduldig; wahrlich, Allah ist mit den Geduldigen." (8:46) Abu Ali ad-Daqqaq sagte: „Leute, die Geduld besitzen, sind die wahren Gewinner auf dieser Welt und der nächsten, weil sie die Gesellschaft Allahs haben." Allah wird jene, die Geduld haben, mit einem dreifachen Lohn belohnen – Segnungen, Barmherzigkeit und Rechtleitung: „Doch verkünde den Geduldigen eine frohe Botschaft, die, wenn sie ein Unglück trifft, sagen: "Wir gehören Allah und zu Ihm kehren wir zurück." Auf diese lässt ihr Herr Segnungen und Barmherzigkeit herab und diese werden rechtgeleitet sein." (2:155-157) Wenn Leute zu jemanden von den Salaf (den frühen Generationen der Muslime, besonders die Sahaba und die Tabi'in) kamen, um ihr Beileid auszudrücken für irgendein Unheil, das ihn befallen hatte, sagte er: „Warum sollte ich keine Geduld ausüben, wenn Allah jenen, die Geduld haben, dreifachen Lohn versprochen hat, von denen jeder besser ist als diese Welt und alles was in ihr ist?"Geduld ist ein Hilfsmittel Allahs Hilfe zu ersuchen: „Und helft euch durch Geduld und Gebet..." (2:45) Also wer auch immer keine Geduld hat, hat keine Hilfe.Geduld und Taqwa (Bewusstsein von Allah, besonders Furcht und Ehrfurcht vor Ihm) sind Bedingungen für Allahs Hilfe und Unterstützung: „Ja, wenn ihr geduldig und gottesfürchtig seid und sie sofort über euch kommen, wird euer Herr euch mit fünftausend Engeln in Kampfbereitschaft helfen." (3:125)Geduld und Taqwa sind ein großer Schutz vor der Gerissenheit von Feinden: „...Aber wenn ihr geduldig und gottesfürchtig seid, wird ihre List euch keinen Schaden zufügen..."
