Mit dem Beistand Allâhs führe ich seit drei Jahren ein glückliches Leben als Muslim. Den Islâm erfuhr ich von pakistanischen Tablighi-Beauftragten, und hierfür bin ich ihnen äußerst dankbar. Die Mehrheit unserer Bevölkerung ist buddhistisch, allerdings nur dem Namen nach. Die meisten sind keine praktizierenden Buddhisten und kennen ihre Religion kaum. Der Hauptgrund für diese apathische Haltung liegt wohl darin, dass der Buddhismus eine hochtrabende und komplizierte Philosophie darstellt und wenig praktische Hilfe gibt. Deshalb ist er ungeeignet für gewöhnliche Menschen, die sich mit alltäglichen Problemen herumschlagen müssen. Sie können den Buddhismus weder verstehen noch anwenden. Anders der Islâm. Die Lehren des Islâms sind einfach, geradlinig und sehr praktisch. Der Islâm berührt alle Aspekte des menschlichen Lebens. Er formt die Gedanken des Menschen, und auf reine Gedanken folgt spontan reines Handeln. Die Lehre des Islâms ist so einfach, leicht und praktisch, dass jedermann sie verstehen kann. Sie ist kein Privileg der Priester, wie das in anderen Religionen der Fall ist. Der Islâm hat in Japan eine große Zukunft. Es gibt zwar einige Hindernisse, aber diese sind keinesfalls unüberwindlich. Zuerst sollten organisierte ständige Anstrengungen unternommen werden, die Leute mit den Lehren des Islâms vertraut zu machen. Mit jedem Tag wird unsere Bevölkerung materialistischer, aber auch unglücklicher. Den Leuten muss gesagt werden, dass sie wahren Frieden und Zufriedenheit im Islâm finden. Der Islâm ist das vollständige Gesetz des Lebens, und er gibt Halt in allen Lebenslagen. Ferner sollten Leute gefunden werden, welche dieses Werk durch ihr eigenes Vorbild erfüllen können. Leider sind die muslimischen Studenten, die aus Islâmischen Ländern kommen, keine Vorbilder, denen zu folgen es sich lohnt und von denen Führung und Rat erhofft werden könnte. Die meisten haben einen völlig westlichen Lebensstil übernommen und wissen kaum etwas über den Islâm, weil sie in angesehenen Lehranstalten, hauptsächlich Klöstern, erzogen worden sind. Falls der Islâm in Japan Erfolg haben soll, und ich zweifle nicht, dass dies eines Tages der Fall sein wird, müssen alle dem Islâm zugeneigten Leute das Problem überdenken und aufrichtige sowie verstärkte Anstrengungen unternehmen. Jene Muslime, die echten Glaubens sind und deren Leben als Vorbild dienen kann, sollten Japan besuchen und die Leute hier unterrichten. Unsere Bevölkerung dürstet nach Frieden, Wahrheit, Ehrlichkeit, Aufrichtigkeit, Tugendhaftigkeit und allem Guten im Leben. Ich bin überzeugt, dass der Islâm und nur der Islâm diesen Durst stillen kann. Wir brauchen den absoluten Glauben an Ihn, dass es geschehe, und wir bitten Ihn, uns diesen Glauben zu schenken. Islâm bedeutet „Frieden" und kein anderes Volk braucht mehr Frieden als die Japaner. Wahrer Frieden kann uns erfüllen, wenn wir die Religion des Friedens annehmen. Frieden mit allen Menschen und Frieden mit Gott.
