    „Der Gesandte ALLĀHs (salALLĀHu ʿaleyhi wa salām) ging hinaus, um von Laylat ul-Qadr Kunde zu geben als er zwei Männer von den Muslimen miteinander streiten sah, sagte er: „Ich bin hinausgegangen, um euch von Laylat ul-Qadr Kunde zu geben dabei sah ich den Soundso und den Soundso miteinander streiten, worauf diese Kundgebung rückgängig gemacht wurde. Es mag sein, dass es so besser für euch ist. Erwartet sie (also Laylat ul-Qadr) dann in den letzten sieben, neun und fünf Tagen des Monats."

    Die herrschende Lehrmeinung sagt, dass der Gesandte ALLĀHs (salALLĀHu ʿaleyhi wa salām) den genauen Zeitpunkt von Laylat ul-Qadr deshalb offen ließ, um den Muslimen in diesem segensreichen Monat mehr Gelegenheit zum Eifern um das Wohlwollen ALLĀHs zu geben. Mit der ungeordneten Reihenfolge der letzten Tage ist die Vorrangigkeit der Erwartung gemeint.
