    Über eine Sünde öffentlich zu sprechen und es offen vor Freunden zur Schau zu stellen ist haram, und ist eine große Sünde. Dies ist eine der Arten von Verbreitung von Unmoral unter den Muslimen, der Förderung des Bösen und man verführt damit andere ähnliche Dinge zu tun. Dies bedeutet auch, dass man die Sünden nicht ernst nimmt und es als unerheblich betrachtet sie zu begehen und der Sünder schadet seinem eigenen Ansehen und setzt seine Ehre den Verleumdungen anderer aus. Islam versucht mit den strengst möglichen Wörtern die Menschen von dem Begehen solcher Taten abzuhalten, wie in dem folgenden Hadith:

    Abû Huraira berichtete, dass der Gesandte Allahs sagte: "Jedem Mitglied meiner Ummah wird vergeben, außer jenen, die ihre Sünden öffentlich machen. Ein Beispiel dafür ist das eines Mannes, der Nachts eine Sünde begeht und am nächsten Morgen, nachdem Allah seine Sünde bedeckt hielt, sagt: 'Oh Soundso, ich habe letzte Nacht dieses und jenes getan.' Nachdem sein Herr die ganze Nacht seine Sünden bedeckt hielt und er am nächsten Morgen öffentlich macht, was Allah bedeckte." (al-Bukhaari, 5721; Muslim, 2990).

    Shaykh Ibn 'Uthaymeen, möge Allah mit ihm zufrieden sein, sagte: es gibt eine dritte Art einer unmoralischen, rebellisch, promiskuitiven Person, die in einer prahlerischen Weise über Zinaa (Unzucht, Ehebruch) spricht - wir suchen Zuflucht bei Allah - und den Leuten erzählt, dass er in dieses oder jenes Land gereist ist und dort mit einer Anzahl von Frauen unmoralische Zinahandlungen begangen hat und so weiter und damit angibt. Solche Leute sollten gebeten werden, zu bereuen, und wenn sie nicht dies nicht tun, sollten sie hingerichtet werden (in einerm islamischen Staat), denn wenn eine Person mit Zinaa angibt, deutet dies darauf hin, dass er denkt dies sei halal - Allah bewahre uns davor - und derjenige der meint Zinaa wäre halal ist ein Kafir. (Sharh Riyaad al-Saaliheen, 1/116).
